On Saturday, Lisa Genovese, the Vice President of ComItEs NSW, attended the Annual Community Language Schools Conference put on by the NSW Federation of Community Language Schools Inc.It was a very interesting day and a wonderful opportunity to better understand the opportunities and challenges faced by Community Language schools and the common desire of communities to keep their languages alive and thriving in a new place.The two Keynote speakers were Prof. Joseph Lo Bianco and Dr Gianfranco Conti and Dr Teresa De Fazio presented workshops. They all provided brilliant insights into their respective areas of expertise. It was wonderful to see that the knowledge of Italian experts in this field is recognised the world over.
